About Rhodes and the Village:
Rhodes is truly the island of the sun and beauty. The island of Rhodes situated in the South East part of Aegean Sea. With its unique attractions and sunny days throughout the year, it is ideal for all visitors. Archangelos is the largest village of Rhodes; it lies in a fruitful valley in the east of the island overlooked by a crumbling castle (1467). Small, narrow streets of the old city are surrounded by orange and lemon tree fields, olive groves, and vineyards. The local picture of Archangelos shaped by a bright bell tower church of Michael Archangelos (built 1845).

Apart from the fine agricultural products, the village is also famous for its traditional carpets, its unique ceramics, and its goat leather boots. Other characteristics of the village are the striking colours used for the painting the different elements of its homes. In Archangelos, guests can find everything they need for basic supplies: supermarkets, restaurants, banks, pharmacies, medical center, car and motorcycle lettings, shops with souvenirs, etc. Archangelos is located 30Km away from the city of Rhodes, 15Km from picturesque Lindos, 35Km from the airport and 30Km from Rhodes' main port.

From April to Mid-May there are very beautiful, informative orchid walking tours of wild-Orchid-types in their natural surroundings. Over 65 different variations of Orchids can be seen. In Μay, September & October, we offer accomodations for cultural & back- to- nature trips in air-conditioned cars with a female, English-speaking and reliable guide and driver. The Beach:
One of the best sights of Archangelos is Stegna beach. Stegna beach is situated approximately 2.5Km from Archangelos on the east coast of the island. It is a beautiful resort, tucked between mountains and a gorgeous stretch of beach, orange trees and green.Stegna has an absolute unspoiled Greek village atmosphere, where the pace of life is easy-going and relaxed.

The beach is mainly sandy, however you can find pebbles or shingle in places. Stegna Beach is a nice and quiet beach ideal for family vacations, couples and youngsters. Water sports are available and the visitor can find traditional restaurants and friendly taverns with fresh fish across the beach, mini-markets and cafes.Sun beds are available for hire and furthermore car and motorcycles can be rent too.

The Rooms:
Alpha Stegna Sun offer two kinds of accommodations:

1. The Studios
The studios are located right off of Stegna beach, just 30 meters from the seaside. It is a complex of two floors, with 3 separate studios on each floor. Four studios out of the six have two single beds and the other two have one double bed (for two people). There is a common kitchen for the studio complex, fully equipped, which can be used by everyone, and it is located on the first floor of the Studios. The first floor's studios are equipped with a ceiling ventilatorand with air-conditioned. The Studios are surrounded by a beautiful garden, full of colorful flowers, trees (like orange, avocado, pomegranate, apple, walnut, peach etc.) and trickling water. After a hot day in the beach, you can relax under the shadow of the trees where you can enjoy your meal or your coffee in the big table in the garden just outside the kitchen. There is a first floor verandah and a balcony above, where you can immerse yourself in the green, the sea view and the quietness of the whole scenery.

2. The Apartments
There two apartment buildings, one is located in the same place as the Studios and includes two separate apartments. The second one is a separate, detached house in another part of Stegna beach.

The first two apartments are located in the same place with the Studios in a two floor building. The first one is downstairs in the garden and the second one is upstairs.

The second separate detached house is located in another part of Stegna beach, and it is ideal for families or large groups. It has all the comforts of a home. There are two bedrooms, which can accommodate up to 7-8 people, and include a kitchen as well as a bathroom, equipped with a toilet, bathtub and hand-basin. Also, there is a shower outside. The house has a garden with trees and a fantastic sea-view. Here you can enjoy the quietness and your privacy.

The Garden:
In our garden you can find a large collection of flowers and fruits, such as oranges, avocados, peaches, grapes, pomagranate, apples, walnuts etc.

The Facilities:
The Studios of Alpha Stegna Sun provide you with the following facilities:
Bathroom and toilet, with a shower and hot or cold water

Mini-table with 2 or 4 chairs
Each room has its own refrigerator
Tea/coffee cooking facilities
Ceiling ventilator (free of charge) or air-conditioning (extra charged)
A common fully equipped kitchen with cooking appliances (coffe machine, washing machine, refrigerator, stove, sink, houseware)
A big table in the garden, under the shadow, just outside the kitchen
Cleaning room service; towels and linen change occur twice a week, or when necessary
The studios are situated around a garden with colourful flowers and trees
Quiet and relaxing atmosphere
